Jessica Lange cover "God and Monster" in AHS

The fan of the TV serie "American Horror Story" (AHS) were surprised to hear in the 4X03 "Edward Mordrake Part 1", Jessica Lange, in the role of Elsa Mars in this season 4, sang "Gods ans Monsters" a cover of Lana Del Rey, this 22nd October.

Now Ultraviolence

In begging of 2014, she anounced, that she covered "Once upon a Dream" of the film and animated film The Sleeping Beauty for the film Maleficient,  with Angelina Jolie.

April 14, 2014,is unveiled the first single of Ultraviolence,  West Cost. 

Then, she unveiled in this order, Shades Of Cool, then Ultraviolence finally, Brooklyn Baby.

This album was released June 13, 2014 and it is number 1 in twelve countries.Lana described her third album as being "more stripped down but still cinematic and dark". 

She is foresee to sing for the next James Bond's soundtrack.

The film Tropico

Along with Paradise, Lana Del Rey announced plans to launch a short film titled Tropico. Tropico was filmed in late June 2013 and directed by Anthony Mandler. The film, a long time announced, reavealed only on the December 5, 2013 on the account VEVO of the singer. When this film was projected in preview at Cinerama Dome in Hollywood in California, she said : "I really just wanted us all to be together so I could try ans visually close out my new record, Ultraviolence." In this film, Lana Del Rey, will soundtrack, 3 songs of Paradise, Body Electric, Gods & Monsters, and Bel-Air. This short film lasts approximately 27 minutes.

Then, Summer Wine with her boyfriend of the time, Barrie-James O'Neil a cover this time of Lee Hazlewood.

Then for Valentine's Day 2013, she write Burning Desire.

Finnaly, she write with her friend Baz Luhrmann Young and Beautiful, a song for the soundtrack of The Great Gatsby.

She was discovered when she realise the single Video Games. She told at a newspaper, The Obsever : “I just put that song online a few months ago because it was my favourite. To be honest, it wasn't going to be the single but people have really responded to it.". Her song won a Q award for “Next Big Thing” in the end of 2011, and an Ivor Novello award for “Best Comtempory Song” in 2012.

Just after, she singned with Interscope Records for made her second album Born To Die, for this, she made, promotional concert and performances at televison shows. 
On January 14 2012, she sang two song of this album on Saturday Night Live, this day, the actor Daniel Radcliffe,present for the TV show, he was guest host, defend her, even if he has not seen the performance. The next week, she was parodied by Kristen Wiig at the same show!

In October 9 2012, Lana Del Rey release Paradise, an EP which was nominated at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards in the categories "Best Alternative", "Best Push", and "Best New Act". She won "Best Alternative" ans she gave the "Best Female" at Taylor Swift. At the 2013 BRIT Awards, she won the award for "International Female Solo Artist" while Taylor Swift was sense for this.

In 2005/2006, she made the album Sirens, with the name May Jailer, than it's leaked in 2012. Then, in 2008, she made an EP, Kill Kill, with the name Lizzy Grant, it talks about, “homeless outreach, drug and alchool rehabilitation.”, her life for the five years before. Finaly, in 2010, she made the album Lana Del Ray, with the name eponymous, in which songs of Kill Kill, are included.

Lana's life before the music

Lana has a sister, Caroline (her nickname is "Chuck"), who is a photographer, and a brother Charles (his nickname is "Charlie"). Lana has accept to the universty but she decide to take a gap years for live with her oncle. She work as a waitress. Then, she going to Fordham University for study philosphy, the metaphysics precisly. She lives in the Bronx then at Brooklyn.

As you know, she is a singer and her real name is Elizabeth Wooldrige Grant, she is knows with other names : Lizzy Grant, Lana Del Ray and May Jailer. She was born the 21^st June of 1985 also, she have 29 years old. She was konws with her album Born To Die in 2009 and with her frist single, Video Games, even if she has also made other songs before.
